Equipment Needed 🛠️
- VCDS Interface (HEX-V2) or OBD2 Scanner
- Laptop with Windows (for VCDS)
- VAG-COM / VCDS Software installed
Step 1: Locate the OBD2 Port
👉 Find the 16-pin port. In most VAG cars, it's located under the dashboard on the driver's side. ✅
Step 2: Connection & Ignition
👉 Connect the cable to the car first, then to the USB port. Turn the ignition to the 'ON' position (don't start the engine). ❓
Step 3: Uruchomienie VCDS
👉 Open VCDS. Go to 'Options' to test the connection. If OK, go to 'Auto-Scan' to check all modules for faults. ✅
Step 4: Reading DTC Codes
👉 Select 'Fault Codes - 02' to see specific errors. Use the codes to identify which sensor or part is failing. ❌
