Required Equipment 🛠️
- New Engine Oil (e.g. 5W-40) & Filters
- Wrench set (17/19mm) + Torx (T25/T30)
- Old bowl/pan (min. 6-7 liters) 🥣
- Jack + Safety Stands OR Ramps
- Nitrile Gloves 🧤
Step 1: Lifting & Safety ⚠️
👉 Engage HANDBRAKE and put chocks under back wheels! ❌ If using a jack: place STANDS under the subframe or chassis rails. ⚠️ NEVER rely on the jack alone. ✅
Step 2: Selection & Flush 🏷️
👉 Check the sticker under the hood for oil type (e.g. 5W-40). ✅ Drive 5 mins to warm up. 🧪 You CAN use a flush: pour into OLD oil and idle for 10 mins. ❌ DO NOT drive with flush! ✅ Open the filler cap.
3. Oil & Filter Change
👉 Remove splash guard (Torx). 🥣 Place OLD BOWL under the plug. 🧤 Unscrew (17/19mm) and wait 15 mins. ❌ Change oil filter; LUBRICATE the gasket with fresh oil! ⚠️ Install new washer on the plug.
4. Final Steps
👉 Replace Air & Cabin filters (AIR FLOW arrow!). ✅ Pour new oil. Start engine for 30s, wait 5 mins, check level on dipstick. ❓ Reset service light with VCDS. ✅ Done!
